The frame is a U shape Aluminum 3/4" diameter 6063-T832, red, middle cambered with a curved rear end. The decking is Faber's patented WTD (wing traction decking) in impact copolymer (thickness .090") - extremely durable!. The pivot/axle point is a sport model in carbon steel (free rotation and stopper at 70°).· Crampons / Grips are two aluminum claws one 4.5" claw and one 2.5" claw for heel + wings traction. The binding is the Faber Trio 2LR (2 lever ratchets + toe box 3P). The snowshoes weigh around 4. pound per PAIR, making them extremely light and easy to walk in.
Topping all this off with a FANTASTIC three year warranty on parts and a lifetime warranty for frame. This is definitely the best value for a QUALITY (not made in China) snowshoe!
